Reduced Fees

Richmond Health Services

VCH-Richmond has a free dental screening program for children up to age 5 years, and can arrange for free dental services for children 6-12 years. Fax 604.233.3198 By appointment only

Recreation programs (New Westminster)

Must go in person to a particular community centre and state your case.

Recreation credit program (Burnaby)

Provides you with a recreation "credit card" that you can use for anything, but it does have a limit.

Leisure access program (Surrey)

Allows free unlimited access to drop-in swimming, fitness centre use and skating (including skate rentals). Some of their pools even have women-only swim sessions, including women-only swim lessons.

Burnaby Family Life | Family Drop-ins

Come and spend fun-filled hours with your children. Come socialize and meet other parents. Your child will develop new skills and make new friends. A donation of $2.00 per family would be appreciated.

Burnaby Family Life | Baby and Me Second Stage

This is an on-going weekly educational support group for parents with babies aged six to 18 months. Families interested in this program can drop in anytime. Topics include challenges of parenting, infant development, infant health, safety, nutrition and learning songs and rhymes together. Join us for a healthy snack, group discussion and making new friends.
