Foot orthotics, knee braces and shoe modifications.
If the patient has Social Assistance coverage that includes some sort of disability coverage then Orthotics and Bracing is eligible. Regarding IFH clients, there is funding for custom made foot orthotics available. There is a bit of paperwork so it usually takes 3-4 weeks to receive an approval .If they have no other funding then something off the shelf could also help.
No charge for an assessment. Staff will guide patients through some different options with no obligation.

Welcome House has developed a relationship with an independent pharmacy on the corner of Drake and Granville. Yale Pharmacy is now completely set up to take IFH. Can fax or write prescriptions for any clients who are still living at Welcome House.
