Purpose
The Refugee Health Vancouver website is an effort by Vancouver area clinicians with expertise in refugee medicine to pull together the resources pertinent to the care of our local refugee population. Medical care of these patients is challenging due to issues of language, culture, unique medical diagnoses and non-standard medical coverage. By providing fingertip access to comprehensive, locally relevant resources we hope to support family physicians and other care providers in the BC communities in which refugees settle.
